The Executive MBA Program Manager will work with you to ensure that your application is not only complete, but presents you and your qualifications in the best possible light.

The Sobey EMBA program is very popular and spaces are allocated to students well before classes start in August. With limited seats available, interested candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

We consider the following criteria:

• Your management experience
• Your references
• Your previous academic experience
• Your GMAT score  (Highly-qualified individuals may be exempt.  Please speak to the Program Manager, Kelly Fraser at 902.420.5175)
• A personal interview
  

Information Sessions

Information sessions provide an opportunity to learn more about the program. Program alumni and current participants often attend these sessions and can provide first-hand accounts of the program.

Applications for admission to the program must include:

• Application Form: Application forms can be completed online or downloaded or call 902.420.5175.
• Written Statement of your objectives that outlines current responsibilities and assignments, career accomplishments, reasons for applying to Sobey School of Business EMBA program .
• Résumé: A current résumé that includes academic experience, work experience, memberships in professional associations, and volunteer and community activities.
• Most candidates are required to write the GMAT.
• Two References: You are required to submit two reference forms completed by work related sources. These reference forms are available online. Please note that evaluators must send these forms directly to Program Manager of Sobey Executive MBA office.
• Official Transcripts: A certified transcript from each post-secondary institution you have attended, sent by the Registrar of that institution to Program Manager – Sobey Executive MBA office.

There is no application fee for Sobey Executive MBA . Admission to the program is competitive. Applicants are encouraged to apply early, as space is limited. Applications are reviewed immediately upon receipt of completed files and admission decisions are rendered as soon as reference checks are completed.
