| Services and Support At the Sobey School of Business, EMBA students are treated like the executives they are. EMBA staff members take care of all the administrative details, like registering students for classes and sourcing textbooks and class materials. Students meet in comfortable, attractive, state-of-the-art classrooms in the World Trade and Convention Centre in the heart of downtown Halifax. All meals are served in the graciously appointed WTCC dining room, overlooking Halifax's downtown and scenic harbour. Employer Support To ensure maximum success, each EMBA applicant should have the support of their employer in order to enter the program. Employer support can come in the form of time off from work - to attend classes every second Friday - as well as financial support with tuition. For more information on employer support, read our Message to Employers. Program Funding Options Students accepted in the EMBA program are offered several ways to finance their educational experience, the first being the Life Long Learning Plan. The LLP allows you to withdraw amounts from your RRSP to help finance the cost of the program. For more details, visit the Canada Revenue Agency web site. RBC Royal Bank also offers Sobey EMBA students a Royal Credit Line - a special loan program designed to provide financial support to students every step of the way. For more information, read a letter from the RBC Royal Bank. | |||||||||||||||||||||
